The Historical Association is involved with basically all aspects of Scouting in the Old Hickory Council. Each year the Association seem to get involved in many activities. Here are just a few...past and present.
During 1999, the Association was able to scan and organize a comprehensive list of the neckerchief slides offered years ago in Boy's Life by that famous wood carver know to Scouts as "Whittlin' Jim." Shown below are just a few, but reprints of all are available free-of-charge to interested visitors at Boy Scout Raven Knob Museum.
During 2010, BSA's 100th Anniversary year, we are offering a "Free" wooden nickel souvenir for just a visit to the Camp Raven Knob Museum.
The front side contains our museum logo and web site address, while the back refers to BSA's 100th Anniversary.
This will surely become a collector's item, so come by and get your's today!
